About
The Licensing Committee is responsible for the Council's duties under the Licensing Act 2003, which covers the regulation of alcohol sales, entertainment, and late-night refreshment. It also oversees other licensing and registration duties not included in the 2003 Act. While the committee sets policy, day-to-day decisions on specific applications are handled by the Licensing Panel.
