About

The Buckinghamshire Local Access Forum advises local authorities and Natural England on improving public access to the countryside for recreation, as outlined in the Countryside & Rights of Way Act 2000. It plays a positive role in creating new access opportunities and commenting on local issues. This includes advising on the implementation of Open Access Land, considering applications for access restrictions for land management, assisting with the improvement of rights of way, and providing input on the development of local recreation and access plans and strategies.
