The Licensing Committee sets Camden Council's policy on licensing matters, including information on enforcement. It is responsible for granting licenses for the sale or supply of alcohol, regulated entertainment, and late-night refreshment. The Committee has delegated many of its functions to five Licensing Panels to manage the high volume of applications, including those for sexual entertainment venues. Decisions made by these panels can affect businesses and individuals seeking these types of licenses.
