Constitution and Governance Committee

The Committee comprises 9 Members appointed by the Council in accordance with the political balance of the Authority.

The Committee is responsible for reviewing the effectiveness of the governance arrangements of the Council including monitoring the impact of any changes. 

The Committee has a number of decision making powers, such as decisions around Member learning, training and development and agreeing guidance and supporting documents to the Constitution.
