About
The Cornwall Growth Board is responsible for shaping and making decisions on Cornwall's economic growth ambitions, including the Cornwall Growth Strategy, investments, and funding programmes. It also steers the Local Plan on behalf of the Cabinet.
Supported by the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Economic Forum, the Board plays a leading role in determining strategic direction for Cornwall's key economic sectors. It provides governance for the Council's growth projects, oversees investment and funding for employment and skills, and endorses stages of the Local Plan development. As a Committee of Cabinet, it discharges Executive functions.
