About

The Development Management Committee is responsible for making decisions on planning applications and related matters within Dacorum.

Its remit includes town and country planning, development control (excluding Development Plan reviews), and the protection of trees and hedgerows. The committee also handles powers related to public rights of way, such as creating, diverting, or stopping up footpaths, and addresses complaints about high hedges. It has the authority to authorise all associated enforcement actions.
