The Health and Housing Scrutiny Committee reviews and scrutinises the Council's services related to public health, integrated health commissioning, the NHS, council housing (including homelessness and the Lifeline service), and leisure facilities like the Dolphin Centre and Eastbourne Sports Complex. Its role is to improve services for residents by examining their responsiveness to local needs, as part of the Council's broader scrutiny functions.
