About

The Overview and Scrutiny Committee provides a vital check on the council's work. It examines decisions made by the council's Executive and other bodies, and can review or scrutinise any council activity. The committee does not make executive decisions itself but can make recommendations to the Executive or the full Council. Its work helps to ensure that council services are effective and that decisions are made in the public interest.
