The Cabinet Member for Housing and Technology, Councillor Lee Chamberlain, approved the Council Housing Workforce Competence, Learning and Performance Policy and the Housing Services Code of Conduct on 12 October 2026. These policies were approved to ensure compliance with the Regulator of Social Housing's Competence and Conduct Standard. The Service Director for Council Housing is delegated authority to make minor amendments to reflect future changes.

The Cabinet approved the Enfield Safer Stronger Communities Board Community Safety Plan 2026-30 on 14 October 2026. This plan sets out the vision and priorities for preventing and reducing crime and disorder. The Safer Stronger Communities Board approved the plan on 30 April 2026 for statutory partner organisations to adopt.

The Leader of the Council, Cllr Alessandro Georgiou, appointed Akin Durowoju as an Independent Non-Executive Director to the board of Housing Gateway Limited (HGL) on 16 October 2026. The number of Independent Directors on the HGL board will be increased to three for six months to facilitate a handover.
