The Cabinet approved the Voluntary and Community Sector Premises Policy on 14 October 2026. The policy establishes a framework for allocating, managing, and reviewing council-owned premises occupied by voluntary and community sector organisations. The Executive Director Housing and Regeneration, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Council Assets and Culture, is delegated authority to make minor amendments to the policy before publication.

The Leader of the Council, Cllr Alessandro Georgiou, agreed on 16 October 2026 to appoint Akin Durowoju as an Independent Non-Executive Director to the board of Housing Gateway Limited (HGL). The number of Independent Directors on the HGL board will be increased to three for six months to ensure a smooth handover.

The Cabinet approved the refreshed corporate performance scorecard, aligned to the new Council Plan 2026-30, on 14 October 2026. The Cabinet also noted the progress being made against key priority indicators for Enfield.
