The Public Sector Reform Policy and Accountability Committee scrutinises the council's finance, corporate services, human resources, and IT functions, as well as its continuous improvement and customer care services. It monitors administration and spending, reviews the impact of council decisions, and makes policy recommendations to the Cabinet. The committee has the powers of an Overview and Scrutiny Committee, focusing on the council's governance, joint working arrangements, and corporate programmes.
