About

The Culture, Community Safety & Environment Scrutiny Panel examines the performance and decisions of Haringey Council's Cabinet and officers. It scrutinises council policies, objectives, and service delivery, particularly in areas such as climate action, transport, waste management, crime prevention, community cohesion, and arts and culture.

The panel questions council members and officers, gathers evidence, and makes recommendations. Its findings and recommendations are referred to the Overview and Scrutiny Committee for approval before being sent to the Cabinet or Council. The panel's work helps develop the council's budget and policy framework.
