About

The Haringey Schools Forum is a statutory consultative body that advises Haringey Council on matters relating to the Dedicated Schools Budget. It reviews and provides advice on proposed changes to the formulae used for determining schools' budget shares.

The Forum also consults on contracts for supplies or services paid from the schools budget, and on financial issues concerning the education of pupils with special educational needs, pupil referral units, early years education, and the allocation of central government grants. It has powers to agree minor changes to the minimum funding guarantee and the level of school-specific contingency.
