About
Havering's Health and Wellbeing Board is a committee of the Council with representation from local NHS and other bodies. Its purpose is to ensure high-quality services that promote health and wellbeing for Havering residents, aiming to reduce inequalities and improve outcomes.
The Board coordinates local NHS, social care, children's services, and public health to foster integrated working and optimise resource use. It champions health improvement, tackles inequalities, develops a Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy based on local needs assessments, and engages the public in these efforts.
