The Hillingdon Planning Committee is responsible for making decisions on specific planning applications within the London Borough of Hillingdon. It considers applications for 'Major' developments recommended for approval, and any application called in by a Ward Councillor, supported by a petition of 20 or more signatures, or where there are 20 or more objections or representations of support that conflict with the officer's recommendation. The committee also handles applications where the Council is the applicant, or submitted by or on behalf of councillors or officers involved in planning. It also determines certain applications related to listed building consent and specific conditions under the High Speed 2 Act.
