The CABINET of Hillingdon Council decided on 22 October 2026 to approve recommendations for the Garden Waste Service. The service will move to a consistent fortnightly collection using wheeled bins from April 2027, with charges set at £69 per bin. The decision maker agreed to hire appropriate vehicles, commence procurement for replacement refuse collection vehicles and 40,000 bins, and delegate authority to the Corporate Director of Residents Services to award the bin contract and finalise bin design and operational policies.
