About

The Pension Board assists the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames as Scheme Manager to ensure the effective and efficient governance and administration of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS). It helps secure compliance with LGPS regulations, the Pensions Regulator's requirements, and other relevant legislation.

The Board is composed of six members: three employer representatives and three scheme member representatives. It monitors the LGPS's compliance with regulations and provides information to the Scheme Manager. The Board's role is advisory, focusing on governance and administration rather than direct decision-making on fund investments.
