The Sub-committee was asked to consider
excluding the press and public from the meeting during
consideration of the following item on the grounds that it was
likely to involve the disclosure of exempt information as defined
in Paragraphs 1 and 2 (Information relating to any individual and
Information likely to reveal the identity of an individual) of Part
1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972.
The Chair confirmed the Panel's wish to
conduct the hearing in public where possible, in the interest of
openness and transparency.
Councillor Kugan was asked for her view and
confirmed that she would like the hearing to take place in public
so far as possible.
Resolved: The Sub-committee
