About

The Cabinet is Knowsley Council's executive decision-making body, comprising the Leader and six Cabinet Members, each with a specific portfolio. It is responsible for implementing the council's policy framework and budget, and proposing these to the full Council. While individual Cabinet Members do not hold executive decision-making power alone, decisions are made by the Cabinet or delegated to officers in consultation with the relevant Cabinet Member.
