The Corporate Parenting Board (CPB) assists Lambeth Council in fulfilling its legal duties towards children looked after and care leavers up to the age of 25.
The committee oversees the implementation of strategies and services for these young people, ensuring their views influence decision-making. It monitors the effectiveness of services, advises on legislation, and reviews performance indicators related to health, education, accommodation, and employment. The CPB also considers inspection outcomes and makes recommendations to council decision-makers and partners to improve outcomes for children and care leavers.
