About

The Lewisham Pension Board is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective governance and administration of the Local Government Pension Scheme at a local level. It assists and advises the Council on measures to secure compliance with relevant pension regulations and other legal requirements, as mandated by the Public Service Pensions Act 2013 and associated regulations. The Board comprises two employer representatives and two scheme member representatives. It reports annually to the Council for inclusion in the Council's annual governance statement.
