About

The Lincolnshire Waste Partnership is a joint body made up of councillors and officers from eight local councils across Lincolnshire. Its primary role is to ensure all partners work together to achieve the goals of an agreed Joint Municipal Waste Strategy. The Partnership monitors performance against this strategy, assesses the impact of changes on residents and businesses, and maintains communication between partners. It also agrees on a unified Lincolnshire stance on national waste management issues and lobbies accordingly. The Partnership provides a forum for sharing knowledge and learning, and its voting structure helps determine a majority view to guide individual council actions.
