About

The Place Scrutiny Committee reviews and scrutinises the decisions and performance of the council's executive functions related to place, such as planning, regeneration, and environmental services. It does not make decisions itself but provides recommendations to the executive and full council. The committee considers evidence, challenges proposals, and seeks to improve council services. Members of the public can submit written or audio-visual representations on matters being discussed, and can request to speak at meetings, subject to time limits and prior notice.
