About

The Public Services Scrutiny Committee examines and reviews the council's services and decisions to ensure they are effective and meet the needs of Monmouthshire residents. It provides recommendations to the council's executive and other decision-making bodies. The committee does not make executive decisions itself but scrutinises the work of others. Residents can submit written, audio, or video representations on proposals being discussed, with a deadline of 5pm three clear working days before the meeting. Future topics for scrutiny can be suggested via email.
