The Employment and Enterprise Partnership Action Board (EEPAB) coordinates local plans and initiatives to improve skill levels, job opportunities, wage levels, and business growth for Newham residents and businesses. It steers employment and skills workstreams, aiming to reduce worklessness and raise skill and wage levels in line with regional and national targets. The board monitors labour market information to identify trends impacting residents, shares knowledge about the regional economy and employer priorities, and acts as a forum for sharing best practices in skills and employment strategies. It also coordinates responses to relevant consultations.
