The Newham Schools Forum is a consultative body that brings together representatives from various educational sectors within the borough. Its primary role is to discuss and advise on matters related to school funding and education provision in Newham. The forum's membership includes representatives from maintained primary, secondary, nursery, and special schools, as well as academies, pupil referral units, and alternative provision providers. It also includes representatives from teachers' associations, diocesan bodies, elected members, and the 14-19 sector, ensuring a broad range of perspectives on educational issues affecting local children and young people.
