The Corporate Director of Environment and Sustainable Transport approved the Romford Road Public Realm Improvement Scheme: Junction 2 - Woodgrange Road and Upton Lane on 05/08/2026. This decision approves the scheme.

The Chief Executive approved the programme of enhanced structural investigative surveys to tall blocks and the appointment of John Rowan and Partners to carry out these surveys on 21st February 2024. The Corporate Director of Environment and Sustainable Transport approved the implementation of bus priority measures at the junction of Plaistow Road and A114 Clegg Street on 18th March 2021. This includes introducing new bus lanes, modifying junction signals, and upgrading a zebra crossing to a pelican crossing.
