About

The Performance Scrutiny Committee - Partnerships is responsible for holding the Public Services Board (PSB) and other partnerships to account for their performance. It scrutinises the PSB's decisions, actions, and governance arrangements, making reports and recommendations. The committee monitors the PSB's performance against partnership plans and priorities, ensuring democratic accountability. It also considers matters referred by Welsh Ministers and can co-opt non-councillors to assist its work. The committee's remit includes evaluating the effectiveness of partnerships, such as EAS, Newport Live, Norse, SRS, and Joint Commissioning arrangements, and scrutinising community safety issues as the designated committee for Crime and Disorder.
