The Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee for the Northern Care Alliance (JHOSC) reviews health services provided by the Northern Care Alliance for residents of Bury, Oldham, Rochdale, and Salford, and works to improve health and reduce inequalities related to hospital services.
This committee, composed of representatives from the four local councils, has the statutory authority to conduct health scrutiny functions. It reviews and scrutinizes health service issues concerning the Northern Care Alliance on behalf of these councils.
