Remuneration Committee

The Remuneration Committee is responsible for decisions regarding senior staff pay and appointments within Oxfordshire County Council. It makes recommendations to the full Council on the annual pay policy statement and the appointment of the Head of the Paid Service. The committee also agrees changes to the salaries of statutory and non-statutory Chief Officers and appoints Strategic Directors, the Director of Adult Services, the Director of Children’s Services, and the Executive Director of Resources. Additionally, it handles agreements for placing staff at the disposal of other local authorities when these matters are not the responsibility of the Cabinet.
