Delegated Decisions by Cabinet Member for Highway Construction and Repair approved the acceptance of £6.2 million of grant funding for the Didcot Northern Perimeter Road scheme on 03 September 2026. Authority was delegated to the Director of Environment and Highways, in consultation with the Head of Legal and Governance, to complete a Grant Funding Agreement with South Oxfordshire District Council. The grant will be drawn in later stages of the project with scheduled payments upon design completion and construction contract award.

The Cabinet of Oxfordshire Council decided on 28/07/2026 to approve recommendations regarding the Adult Social Care Contributions Policy. The Cabinet response confirmed alignment with the Oxfordshire Way, outlined how implementation would remain proportionate and efficient, and detailed safeguards for vulnerable individuals. Officers will provide an update to Scrutiny six months after policy implementation.

The Cabinet of Oxfordshire Council approved recommendations on 28/07/2026. The council will implement safeguards including individual assessments, reviews, hardship requests, and monitoring of complaints, appeals, and risk escalations. A cohort of 33 people identified as potentially affected by all three proposed changes will be contacted directly for review.
