Cabinet

The Cabinet is the executive decision-making body of Peterborough City Council, responsible for running council services and implementing policies. It comprises the Leader of the Council and up to nine other councillors, who oversee different areas of local governance.

The Cabinet is responsible for delivering services, approving new policies (excluding major ones), and promoting the city's economic, environmental, and social well-being. Decisions made by the Cabinet and individual Cabinet members are published as Executive Decisions. The Leader publishes a Forward Plan outlining upcoming key decisions.
