About

The Executive is a group of up to nine councillors, led by the Leader and including a Deputy Leader, appointed to oversee specific service and policy areas. It makes decisions and sets policy within the council's overall policy and budget. If the Executive needs to make a decision that goes beyond these established boundaries, the matter is referred to the full Council for approval. Meetings are held approximately every six weeks and are open to the public, with some available online.
