The Overview and Scrutiny Management Board (OSMB) acts as the principal overview and scrutiny committee of the Council. It considers matters relating to the conduct, structure and procedures of overview and scrutiny, ensures overview and scrutiny of the Council’s values, plans and strategies and make recommendations for improvements either directly or via the Health Select, Improving Lives or Improving Places Commissions through oversight of the work programmes of those commissions. Meeting webcasts Our meetings are webcast so that you can see how the council makes decisions that affect you. Our aim is to promote openness and accountability, and to support greater participation in local democracy. You can watch key Council meetings conducted in public live, or view the archived version. Archived versions are available within 48 hours of broadcast. They remain online for 12 months. This particular meeting is webcast.
