About

The Cabinet supports the City Mayor in providing political leadership for Salford and overseeing the delivery of council services. It comprises Deputy City Mayors and Lead Members, each responsible for specific service areas. Cabinet Members work with senior officers to monitor performance, develop policy, and guide strategic priorities. While the City Mayor holds executive authority, most major decisions are considered in consultation with the Cabinet at public meetings.
