About

The South Hams Executive is a group of ten councillors, led by the Council Leader, responsible for providing leadership to the council's overall activities. It manages council land and property, reviews fees and charges for services, and approves delivery plans.

The Executive's decisions and responsibilities are detailed in the Council's Constitution. Its members hold specific 'portfolios' covering areas such as finance, economic development, waste and recycling, community services, planning, housing, and environmental health.
