Executive

The Executive is Southwark Council's cabinet, comprising the Leader and Executive Members. It leads community planning and seeks best value, with input from overview and scrutiny committees. The Executive drafts the budget and policy framework for Council Assembly approval, makes decisions on resources and priorities to deliver these, and oversees council services. It ensures consultation on policy development and key decisions, and forms partnerships with other organisations to meet local needs.
