Corporate Overview and Scrutiny Committee

The Corporate Overview and Scrutiny Committee is Staffordshire Council's main scrutiny body, responsible for coordinating all overview and scrutiny work programmes. It holds the Council Leader and Deputy Leader accountable for their leadership and performance. The committee scrutinises the council's overall performance, strategic corporate planning, and its improvement and transformation programmes. It also examines the Local Enterprise Partnership, reviews called-in executive decisions, and scrutinises support services such as Finance, ICT, and Human Resources.
