The Charities and Trusts Committee of Staffordshire Council approved recommendations on 09/06/2026. The committee approved the grant of a lease of part of Dosthill playing field and recreation ground to the Fierte Multi-Academy Trust. They also approved an application to CISWO and the Charity Commission for consent to grant the lease and to delegate approval to the Assistant Director for Commercial and Assets to complete the final lease.

The Charities and Trusts Committee of Staffordshire Council approved recommendations on 09/06/2026. The committee approved the updated Stafford 14-19 Partnership Business Plan 2024-2029 and the funding request for 2026-27 and 2027-28. The Assistant Director – Skills and Employability was authorised to approve the release of funds subject to the successful delivery of the 2026-27 business plan element.

The Charities and Trusts Committee of Staffordshire Council approved recommendations regarding the Nicholson Institute on 09 June 2026. The committee agreed to run a competition for a tenant for the lower ground floor, delay granting leases for the ground and first floors, approach the Charity Commission regarding governing document variations, and delegate approval of the business case and lease to the Assistant Director for Commercial and Assets.

The Charities and Trusts Committee of Staffordshire Council approved the Annual Accounts for 2024/25 for 13 Endowment Charities and the Trustee's Annual Reports for 3 charities on 11 November 2025. The committee approved the Annual Accounts for the 13 charities where Staffordshire County Council is the Custodian Trustee and approved the Trustee's Annual Reports for the 3 charities required to submit them to the Charity Commission.
