About

The Heatons & Reddish Area Committee serves the wards of Heatons North, Heatons South, Reddish North, and Reddish South. It allows public questions on matters within its powers, except legal or confidential issues. The committee also administers a £3000 fund per ward for community projects and has powers to consider and determine certain planning applications, with opportunities for public representation.

Additionally, the committee holds Open Forum sessions where local groups can present issues affecting the community.
