Purpose
To consider the month end budget report and make any recommendations as appropriate.
Decision
RESOLVED:
- That Cabinet notes the Council’s forecast revenue budget and capital budget positions for the year.
- That Cabinet allocates £0.187m of new Gambling Harms Prevention Grant funding, announced by the Department for Health & Social Care, to the Council’s Public Health budget (as per paragraphs 6 – 8).
- That Cabinet approves the use of £10.485m Section 31 Children, Families and Youth Grant for 2026/27, made up of £10.085m grant allocations and £0.400m carried forward from previous years. Future allocations will form part of the budget setting process for East and West Surrey (as per paragraphs 9-12).
- That Cabinet approves the receipt of £1.3m funding from the Department for Transport for investment to make travelling on the A319 Chertsey Road between Chobham and Ottershaw safer and more reliable (as per paragraphs 20-22).
