About
The Adult and Health Services Overview and Scrutiny Committee examines and holds accountable Cabinet Members and Directors for the Council's plans and financial strategy concerning adult social care, health, and wellbeing in Thurrock.
Its responsibilities include reviewing adult social care services, support for carers, safeguarding vulnerable adults, and public health. The committee also scrutinises health services in Thurrock, using powers under the National Health Service Act 2006, and reviews the work of Thurrock's Health and Wellbeing Board.
