About

The Children's Services Overview and Scrutiny Committee examines and reviews the services provided by the Children's Services Directorate in Thurrock. This includes oversight of child protection, safeguarding, health, welfare, education, youth services, and schools. The committee's work helps to improve these services for children and young people in the borough. It includes co-opted members representing parents and religious organisations, and youth representatives also attend to provide input.
