About

The Licensing Sub-Committee is responsible for making decisions on a range of licensing matters for Thurrock. It considers applications and reviews for registrations, certificates, consents, permits, approvals, and permissions, with the power to grant, refuse, revoke, renew, suspend, transfer, or vary them. This function is exercised unless it has been delegated to an officer, in which case the officer may refer the matter back to the Sub-Committee. The Sub-Committee typically consists of three members of the Licensing Committee and its meetings are open to the public, though the public may be asked to leave for certain sensitive items.
