The Transformation and Assurance Board provides scrutiny, external challenge, advice, and monitoring to oversee improvements at Tower Hamlets Council, as directed by Ministerial Directions.
It reviews and improves leadership, governance, and scrutiny arrangements to empower members and officers to challenge. The Board offers regular advice, challenge, and support on improvement activities, monitors progress against key indicators, and assures delivery against the Ministerial Directions within a three-year timeframe. It also works with the Council to agree an exit strategy and validate success measures.
