The Cabinet approved recommendations for the Crisis Resilience Fund on 16 April 2026. The Cabinet authorised the Executive Director for Resources to commence procurement for delivery of Crisis Payment, Housing Payment, Resilience Services, and Community Coordination strands. The Cabinet also authorised the Executive Director for Resources to finalise and submit the statutory Delivery Plan to DWP by 1 July 2026 and to take all necessary steps to implement the CRF delivery model.

The Portfolio Holder for Transport and Planning approved the introduction of traffic signals with pedestrian facilities at the B4098 Tamworth Road and Coventry Road crossroads junction in Fillongley on 24 April 2026. This decision was made following a public consultation and consideration of objections received.

The Cabinet endorsed the final version of the Council Plan for 2026-30 on 11 May 2026 for onward consideration by Council. The Cabinet had regard to feedback from Overview and Scrutiny Committees.
