Purpose

Following approval of the 2026 to 2027 budget at Council on 24 February 2026, work is underway on the operational implementation plan for the 2026 to 2027 budget amendment. If any new Cabinet decisions are required to implement the Council decision a report will be brought to this meeting of Cabinet.

Resolved:

That:

  1. The changes to parking business rules and tariff bands (as set out in Appendix 1 to Report number CAB/WS/26/021) included in the variation to Traffic Regulation Order, be approved.
  2. The Evaluation Framework for the free parking pilot scheme (as set out in Appendix 2 to Report number CAB/WS/26/021), be approved.
