About

The Corporate Parenting Forum brings together elected members, officers, and representatives from the Children in Care Council to oversee the council's responsibilities for young people in care and care leavers. This forum ensures that the council acts as a responsible parent to these vulnerable individuals. It provides a platform for discussion and decision-making regarding the well-being and support of children and young people in the council's care. The forum's terms of reference are detailed in Part 6 of the Council's Constitution.
