The main responsibilities of the Board are to commission work for Scrutiny Panels, establish Scrutiny Task Groups, advise on the Council’s Policy and carry out Call-ins. In addition, it is designated by the Council as its statutory Crime and Disorder Committee and must meet at least annually.
