The Communities and Equalities Scrutiny Committee met on Wednesday 3 June 2026 to discuss its work programme for the upcoming year. The committee also formally approved the minutes from its previous meeting held on 4 March 2026.

Work Programme

The committee received an Overview Report from the Governance and Scrutiny Support Unit, which detailed responses to previous recommendations, key decisions within the committee's remit, and items for information. The committee noted that a more in-depth discussion regarding the work programme for the forthcoming municipal year would take place in a private session following the formal meeting. An updated work programme, reflecting these discussions, would be circulated with the papers for the next meeting. The committee formally noted the report and agreed the work programme. Councillor Alan Good declared a personal interest in this item as he is employed by an organisation operating within the Citywide Advice Contract.
